As the newsletter for the Law Students’ Society, De Minimis was published from 1948 until 1976. De Minimis carried the news of the society with a humorous touch, informing students of sporting triumphs and social events, whilst entertaining them with jokes and quick quips about life within the faculty.
The editors in 1963 explained their purpose in reference to their title: ‘As the law does not concern itself with little things (lex non curat de minimis), it is the function of this magazine so to do.’
